boxing is about entertainment and nothing is more entertaining than a toe to toe guerra and a vicious knockout.

That is entertaining style of fighting only to you and Marg fans because you know Margs can't box 1 lick. You being the arm chair fan that you are and being young...you don't even realize how ****** you look posting this. This can't even be taken as an opinion lol. Boxing is about winning and doing anything to win without breaking the rules. You win ugly to fight another day, and that day could be a better day than the last day you fought. Running in Boxing

Running in boxing does not take on the literal meaning as it is understood by non aficionados. In boxing, when a fighter is blessed with lightening reflexes of hand and foot he often chooses to use them with lethal results.

Many “armchair boxing experts” accused Mayweather of running from Carlos Baldomir/Oscar De La Hoya/Ricky Hatton even at the risk of sounding ******.

Even my girlfriend seethed at Floyd’s nimble escapes and called him a “*****”.Don’t believe it was a dumb thing to say?

Then answer this, if your best friend stopped by looking like Carlos Baldomir/Oscar De La Hoya/Ricky Hatton after Floyd chewed him up and said to you “I tried to fight but the other guy ran”

what would you think?.

I’ll tell you what you’d think; you’d think to yourself (while giving him that uh huh look) “yeah he ran all over your face”. In other words, speed kills and Floyd Mayweather has plenty of it. Whenever

I watch a fight where a speed oriented fighter employs his natural gifts to victory the fallen opponent (to save face) always resorts to use of the “r” word-“he ran”. Now I won’t even get into the “cultural” undertones of the use of the word “running” pertaining to athletic African American fighters. We all tend to rely on “cultural cliff notes” regarding styles in boxing and for that there is no fault. Yet I will focus on what the strategy of using ones mobility will mean to Floyd Mayweather in the biggest fight of his life.

Good post. Boxers respect Floyd. None can, and won't ever deny his talent. If you ever talk to a boxer, or talk to me lol...you can embarrass yourself talking to guys who do this for a living. People talk to get another poster mad lol. Sometimes they use bigoted remarks, call fighters cowards. And when you realize that they don't box professionally...here it won't fall on deaf ears. If Miguel Angel Cotto boxes all night, or to a casual ran "runs" all night, is he or will he be considered a coward if this leads to a decision for him?

I'd consider him smart.

If he manages to deliver considerable punishment while boxing smartly, then that's even better. That's what all pro fighters should try to attain with regards to skill.

I aknowledge Floyd and his talent and also understand how hard it is to do what he does.. That doesn't mean I have to respect him and it doesn't change the fact that I would rather watch paint dry then wach him fight most the time.
