On a related topic: I just looked at the IBF rankings and oddly enough, didn't see Margarito's name yet Cintron is ranked at # 7. Also, it says that the IBF ww title is vacant. Margarito didn't win the title after KO'ing Cintron? What gives here?...

Margarito vacated pretty much immediately to get the fight with Cotto. Clottey was guaranteed a shot at the IBF and being a Top Rank fighter along with Cotto and Margarito it all worked out, Margarito gets the big fight and Clottey gets to fight for a vacant belt.

I dont know too much about their ranking system, but considering Margarito pretty much just **** on their belt, I dont think they would be willing to rank him too high, but how hes not ranked at all makes no sense, but it is a boxing sactioning body so it makes perfect sense now that i think about it, haha
