    Amir Khan's future competition

When are we going to see Amir Khan fight some proper lightweight competition. The closest thing he has fought to that is Martin Kristjansen. I know Frank Warren is making a lot money from it and creating a lot of hype but surely even he knows that when Khan steps into the ring with the world class lightweight contenders he will get annihilated because he won't know what a top lightweight can do because he's been fighting crap fighters. He will have no chance against Campbell, Guzman, Pacquiao and Diaz. I can see him giving Katsidis and Casamayor a good fight but i'm not sure if he would win those either.

For the record i like Amir Khan, i just want to see him tested and be ready for when he takes on the big competition.

Gomez would destroy Kristjansen ... Discussed this too many times mate, He doesn't pick his opponents and if he did he wouldn't be undefeated .. He'd throw himself in with a world champion as soon as.

We've seen Frank do this over and over again with his fighters, So i don't understand why people blame Amir for his competition ... Frank gives him false promises.

Khan is Warren's cash cow, he'll be matched up against all manner of feather fisted has-beens from lower weight groups until he is forced into a title fight. David Diaz was Khan's only realistic shot at a title this year and now that's gone.

as long as the uk fans put up with all the khan hype, as evident on this site, why should he stop fighting warren creampuffs?whens he going to fight someone ranked under 100?

I wasn't blaming Khan i was more blaming Frank Warren. I know what he is doing but he must know sooner or later Khan is going to get KTFO when he steps in the ring with the big boys.

This is how Warren operates, and hasn't Khan just signed a new deal with Warren?
