Angulo, Kirkland and Maybe Greene will all beat Vanes. Who is a top notch prospect in his own right.

I'd like to see Vanes against Yuri Foreman or Eric Kirkland, or perhaps a title shot against Mora or Verno Phillips. I think he's ready for a step up.

Everybody wants to fight Mora, because they think it would be an easy route to a world title.

More is an awkward fighter but I can see Vanes giving him alot of trouble. Vanes is a good prospect that I can definitely see beating Mora.

Do you mean the Margarito who is considered one of the strongest and best fighters in the world?

Listen, Mora has shown CLEAR improvement. And the Forrest fight showed that he can deal with a formidable fighter for 12 rounds. even a diminished version of VF.

I just don't know that the Armenian is ready for all that Mora has.

come on now.. Mora doesn't have "all" that.

I know it will be a big step up for Vanes, but he is definitely ready for it... he wouldn't even think twice about fightin him had Mora not gotten that belt.

How do you come to that conclusion??

Vanes is just as capable of beating all three of those guys.

Why call out Mora when you don't even think Mora will have the belts after his next two fights? It kind of defeats the purpose.

in case he takes the bate now and maybe fights him... although i know thats tough given his mandatories.

other than that.. i guess just to prove that Vanes is willing to fight the best at Jr. Middle and go against the champs.

I couldn't see that happening, Forrest's camp has already said they're serious about enforcing the rematch clause. To go against that plus Sergio Martinez who has fought two mandatory fights to get the number one ranking, not even the WBC would do that. Those are two fights he very may well lose.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing Vanes matched up against one of young prospects named earlier like Kirkland or Angulo, it would really answer a lot of questions as to who is the future of the division. The division is wide open right now.
