I saw that **** live and dude was taking his best shots and still clownin'.
Vanes hurt his left real bad in the 3rd, so if you notice he doesnt use it... still put on a smart good show for an easy UD...

also, Vanes knocked El Torro down in the first.. somethin Winky Wright and Kassim Ouma failed to do in 12 Rounds.

also, big credit to the solid chin of Hernandez, cuz you are right, he did take some bombs from Vanes and still stayed on his feet.

oh ya... Tsurkan is actully in the works for a possible showdown with Vanes in September.

That would be great as well.

Winky and Ouma aren't punchers, thats why. Also, Hernandez was active then and a full-time fighter. Hernandez hasn't been a full-time fighter for the longest.

No discredit to Vanes, but Hernandez didn't come to win. I still liked how Vanes fought, I'd like to see him fight Angulo or James Kirkland.

to be honest Hernandez did come to win... although him not gettin KOd was the next best thing they could take home.

They still believe he can take Vanes and we get daily emails for a rematch loll... ya, not happenin.

If he did come to win, his fat physique hid it very well. If he wants a rematch, tell him to atleast get in shape first. Besides, a rematch doesn't prove anything new.

About Mora, that'd be a good fight but I don't think Vanes is ready yet. I think he'd be well served to take a few tough fights first before targeting the champions.

Id agree with you had Mora not been the champ... not to discredit him too much, but I really don't see him troubling Vanes much and I would be shocked if he held on to that WBC belt for another 2 fights or so.

Sergio Mora is a weak champion

I'd put my money on Vanes to pull off the upset

Right now is not a good time to call him out because he's locked up with two mandatories, the rematch clause with Vernon Forrest and Sergio Martinez. Calling out Mora is pointless because even if he wanted to, he couldn't make the fight with Mora. Fight someone like James Kirkland or Alfredo Angulo first, that would create demand for a fight with Mora down the line.
