Everyone who Cotto fought were mostly 140 and 135lbers...the only Natural welterweights he faced were Carlos Quintana who got knocked the **** out in 1 round recently, and Alfonso Gomez, who had his bum trilogy with Jesse Feliciano.

All the other guys moved up from 130, 135 and 140...

Margarito will be the third natural WW Cotto faces, and a more legit one than say Alfonso Gomez or Carlos Quintana.

back up your facts then...he had like 8 title fights and 28 fights at that weight. people say mosley was the best at 135 out of all weights, cotto was the one who was a natural welterweight facing smaller fighters all the time. he had problems making 140 for a long time and mostly fought guys coming up from super featherweight, lightweight and light welterweight when he was a huge natural welterweight himself. He said it himself in interviews and he fought as a light welterweight in the amateurs which is 142 pounds and that was in 1992 which means he was boiling himself down to 135.
