    Cotto/Mosley

Watched this again last night and whereas the first time I had it a draw, I scored it 115-113 for Cotto this time. I think the 2nd round is the one I had different.

Watched to the Judah fight as well and Yoel is a moron. "ZAB YOU GOTTA RUMBLE WITH THIS MOTHER ****A! 1, 2, 3, 4 ROLL!

Mosley was landing right hands at will in the first couple of rounds. I noticed Mosley looked nervous, maybe not nervous but really tense. He reminded me of Jermaine Taylor and his wasted movement. Cotto seemed to want to just back up for the most part of the last rounds.

Cotto really ****ed up Judah with that second low blow. I dont give a **** what people say "oh he was selling the low blow",etc, Cotto landed CLEAN on his **** and he landed hard as hell. I truly believe to this day he could've ko/tko'd Cotto within 4. Down the stretch Judah was bound to have gotten systematically broken down (like the HBO team looooves to say) because Judah usually fades, so that's nothing new.

Watching that fight again it reminded of how good Shane's chin is and how much better he could have been had he developed a jab.

You really think Judah would've stopped Cotto?

I had the same score, close but clear for Cotto.

Mosley does have a good jab but he doesn't use it much, he sticks his left hand out and paws with it more than using his jab, he used his jab well against DLH in their first fight, it's kinda faded from his arsenal though.

And I think even without the low blows Cotto would have beaten Judah the same way.

I completely agree. Shane's chin is great and yes, he could've done so much more if he had utilized his jab.

Straight up, I think Judah could've stopped Cotto. Most likely by a wicked uppercut followed by a straight left somewhere in the 2nd round.

Maybe I'm remembering that first fight with ODLH wrong, but I don't remember Mosley really using his jab. I remember it more as straight forward brawl.

It was a close fight. But Cotto beat Mosley to the punch nearly every time in their exchanges. I thought Cotto won quite clearly though. On another note. People claim that he was going backwards on purpose. Bull****. He had a nasty cut inside of his mouth and he was getting a bit tired because Mosley was still coming for all 12. I think the fight could have changed drastically if Mosley let his hands go the last 3 rounds.

Great fight. And a very good learning experience for Cotto.

He was using his jab to set up a lot of his shots when DLH started blocking his right hand leads.
