Miguel Cotto vs. Joshua Clottey Up Next in Puerto Rico?

Promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank already seems to have an idea as to the next fight for WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto. Arum says that if Cotto gets by Antonio Margarito on Saturday, and Joshua Clottey beats Zab Judah next Saturday for the vacant IBF welterweight title, he would possibly match the two for a unification showdown in Cotto's backyard of Puerto Rico. Since both fighters are under contact with Top Rank, Arum says the fight will be easy to make. [details]

I doubt he'd turn down a fight for Cotto against DLH, if DLH decides to fight Cotto.

I think this is plan B if plan A (DLH) falls through...

I think so too, there's just too much money to pass up against DLH.

Too silly to talk about this now.

Clottey is the most overrated fighter outthere, dude gets all his props for almost beating Margarito, when he reality he only won the first few rounds. He broke his hands like fighters always do, and people let him slide on that excuse, fighters break their hand all the time, but the good ones still find a way to get a win out of it.. Hopefully Judah will KO Clottey so the best stay fighting the best.

No he doesn't. Clottey gets alot of his props for destroying Corrales. Yes, fighters break their hands all the time, and yes the good ones still win....but they only win when they're fighting bums. And Margarito isn't a bum, so Clottey lost. Hopefully Clottey KO's Judah so Clottey can finally get a big fight against a big name fighter (like Cotto).

This sound like a big opportunity again with Super Zab, because when he was beaten by Cotto He was punished first with 2low blows before going down in the 10th rd. How about a rematch if Super Zab beats this Clottey. or let me say another match Margarito vs Super Zab.... because its to early to say that Margarito is already defeated by Cotto.. still very far from now. we better wait after july 26 fight.
And if ever Cotto prevails and also to Zab hope there will be a rematch of this two. A sweet revenge from Super Zab because he was beaten very badly by 2 low blows from cotto.
