JEFF LACY: "OF COARSE I DID!!!" lol

Teddy asked Lacy if he purposefully tackled him and Lacy goes "Of Coarse I Did!"

Haha, he said it like he was angry at Teddy for not realizing it himself haha.

At least he was honest about it

That was a genius tactic, he was trying to clinch and Mendoza wasn't cooperating so he got tangled anyway he could. It won him the fight.

Yea Lacy was heated, it looked like he was ready to tackel Teddy down.
I thought the fight could have been a draw. Mendoza gave it away in the last round.

Especially with the house ref protecting him.

I wouldn't say the house ref was protecting him, Mendoza was doing some of his best work to the back of Lacy's head for most of the night. It was an experienced veteran move.

It was the proper thing to do, hell if more fighters knew to hang on for dear life when they had to alot of things might be different...hell Wlad might be undefeated.

Only one fighter was continously warned, and it wasn't the Golden Boy fighter. Not even a warning after a flagrant tackle to avoid a KO? I'm surprised the ref didn't ask him "are you ok Mr. Lacy?"

I would hardly call it genious. It Doesnt take a braniac to know to do that when ur hurt, ur legs are gone, and u need time to recover.

But it was the right move to make. But if he was going to get KO'd, the ref woulda found an excuse to save him anyway, lol.

Lacy still has some fire left, he just was trying so hard for that early KO, he clearly burnt himself out much to early

How many times do you see a guy hurt who doesn't know how to clinch and then he gets stopped? It happens a lot, people like Michael Grant trying to fight their way out of trouble and get into deeper trouble.

It's easy to shout from the sidelines that he needs to clinch but to summon that instinct under fire is an entirely different scenario.
