Yup but he's not the same. That beating was something else I have to watch that fight again. Mentally and physically he's been done since that fight.

Jeff Lacy was a wrecking machine. Anyone that tells you different never saw him before Calzaghe.

Lacy was never a great fighter to be ruined in the first place.
He walks into his opponents with no jab or defense, and relies on power shots and his opponent to be cautious and scared to win.

Joe is a guy who throws alot of punches and beat Lacy, who is slow, to the punch.

For a while I wanted to believe he just took his confidence but didn't ruin him physically. Now it's a dead issue. Joe C killed that man as a fighter.

all of his flaws are still there today. I mean, the guy just leaves himself wide open every single time he goes forward. Calzaghe whooped his ass but I think he did us all a favor and exposed lacy for what he really is (a guy with a lot of power but not much skill).
