Mendoza got Lacy with a head butt and several rabbit punches during the fight, so he could have been deducted a point or two. Lacy actually fought a cleaner fight overall.

He tackled his opponent on purpose while hurt.
If that is not worthy of a point deduction I dont know what is.

That was an early stoppage, and let's remember Mendoza took that fight on very short notice.

Mendoza is a 5 loss fighter with no jab, no defense who can barley even throw a right hook.
The fact he was on there with Lacy for 10 rounds, not to mention having hurt him 3 times, is just sad.

Remember Lacy and his team brought this guy in to make Jeff look GOOD.
And he failed, miserably.

No really, Mendoza stepped in on like a week or twos notice and was stopped a little early. Still Lacy should have gotten this guy out of there.

Even though Mendoza had more time to prepare, his style was supposed to be tailor made for Lacy, soft jab, loose defense, bad footwork etc. but Lacy couldn't even look impressive against him.

Dude, Jeff Lacy went from a Super Middleweight Champion to a WNF Journeyman. He is, after all, surgery and excuses aside, complete garbage.

Many of you who have been here a long time know that I have to be Lacys best fan, at least on here. I've humbly supported him pre and post Calzaghe.....

Point being, I'm soooo excited he's fighting tonight....but it's strange being it's on ESPN2 and on a Wednesday night at that.....Just not my normal night to be really hyped about a fight being on....

Raesaad, your definitely a real Lacy fan. Its good to see loyal fans, who don't turn on their favorite fighters when they lose.
