    • He couldn't have fought Judah --- which was a fight many people wanted to see.

    • He couldn't have fought Baldomir --- which was for the WBC, Ring Magazine and lineal welterweight championship of the world.

    • And he couldn't have fought De La Hoya --- which was the fight he'd been chasing for years.

Convenient how you the only one who have trouble reading it.

Morales has fought many Floyd left over, but avoided Floyd like a plague.

Hamed even asked Floyd, "Why should I risk fighting someone like you when I can make all this money fighting the easy guys?"

            • Are you really so desperate to discredit this fighter that you'll pretend like taking a stepping-stone fight as his first bout in the division was so questionable an act?

            • People actually wanted the Judah fight.
It was a bout that had been anticipated for some time.
You're saying he should have skipped Zab and jumped straight to Baldo? The guy who you don't give him credit for fighting anyway?

            • De La Hoya coming back to jr. welter. is a ****** suggestion and shows how clueless you are.
He hadn't fought there for a decade and had operated in fights as a middleweight in that time.
And he would not have even been willing to come back down to that weight. Floyd had to meet Oscar's terms.

            • It doesn't matter how much people regurgitate the partylines to diminish Baldomir.
He was effective --- durable, strong, heavyhanded.
He was also WBC, Ring Magazine and Lineal Welterweight Champion Of The World.

            • Mayweather-Hatton was about $$$ and generated a massive amount of buzz both within and outside the sport.
And before the benefit of hindsight there were a number of people who believed Hatton would make it highly competetive. Floyd just outclassed him.

            • If Cotto keeps winning --- Floyd will fight him and beat him.
And a lot of people will leave this forum with nothing left to say.
You will probably be one of them.

i would end this with one last comment.

his 4 fights at 147 were sharmba mitchell , zab judah , carlos baldomir and ricky hatton.

might as well just stayed at 140.

That was his way of quitting because he has nothing.

The only reason you think he had any kind of point is because you're as clueless on the subject as he is.
