    Its too late for that. Look at RJJ for example, he just started putting his hands up and he isn't that good at it.

        You must have not seen many Roy Jones fights, that basically was his trademark in the early and mid nineties, to lay on the ropes with his hands up and counter.

            I remember reading some Floyd Sr interviews and he pretty much called Hatton a bum and a joke. I don't know how this could work, if it's true.

                  No no no no, Ofcourse thats the most obvious thing to do. RJJ always used his speed and reflexes to avade pucnhes. I knew that one day he'd get hit hard or K.O'd. Speed and reflexes deteriorate, putting ur hands up and blocking, not so much.

                    Floyd Mayweather Sr. is probably the greatest trainer of all time in the sport of boxing.
                    It will be quite a test to convert Ricky's style.
                    He may teach him to come in behind the cover of his gloves more.
