I believe Cotto NOW has a stronger fan bae at MSG than trinidad does NOW

I was at both Cotto-Mosley(November 07) and Trinidad-Jones(January 08).

When Trinidad came out.. the entire place erupted... I looked over at my uncle and was like holy **** LOL... he was definitely loved in that place in January.

But in November.... When I was at Cotto Mosley, and Cotto came out...

Uhh.... it was indescribable... I would of leaned over to my buddy to tell him holy ****... but I couldnt even hear my OWN voice... it was prolly the loudest thing ive ever heard, except one of those indoor monster truck shows when your a kid...

I found it pretty impressive, Cotto still up and coming to a degree, had about 1/3 more the fanbase than the legend Trinidad had at MSG..

Not sure what its like in PR... or what it WAS like when Trinidad was in his prime... but I thought it was pretty impressive for Cotto.

Anyways, I just thought of that? Figured Id share.

I was at the Tito-Mayorga fight and let me tell you that **** was crazy. You literally had to scream to talk to the guy right next to you. Went to the Cotto-Paulie and Judah fight and it was pretty damn crazy too. Hard to say which was louder in the mayhem. I've been to some Gatti fights too and let me tell you some of the moments in his fights were just as loud as both those guys in MSG.

yeah but the crowds suck except when certain fighters fight there like PAC,dlh, hattons crowd vs floyd, etc.

You know what the deal is though. When you wanna party, you party with the soldiers and the hookers and the ne'er do wells in second class. They are the rowdiest so msg rocks it on fight night.

But if you want people spending rolls, you bring it to vegas.
