Vernon was a good fighter before. Injuries and 2 Mayo losses ****ed him up. He looked good in his comeback, sans the Mora loss and the gift he got against Ike.

I think Forrest looked good mostly because of clever matchmaking.

Since the loss to Mayorga, who has he beaten? Baldomir, Piccirrilo? He certainly didn't beat Quartey that was a robbery. Forrest has always been overrated and his whole career has been based on beating Mosley. Just as Buster Douglas beat Tyson and no one else.

We are in total agreement sir. Forrest has been overrated since the Mosley wins, which is why the Mora upset didn't surprise me at all.

Vernon is so done its a joke. He looked beyond terrible against Mora. He should hang them up before he embarresses himself further.

Yeh its the mosley wins that gave him the boost wasnt it.
Mosley went on to keep winning and Forrest just came to a halt
after getting steamrolled by Mayorga

Forrest was exposed for the fraud he is. What a total waste. He calls his opponent Mora a bum then the bum rails him for his belt. Whats funny is that Mora didnt look exceptional he just was facing a loser.

I just watched the Wright vs Quartey fight the other day, imagine what Winky would have done to Forrest? Vernon would have made Winky look like Tyson.

I think you guys are being a bit harsh. He was a solid champion, had great skills. He only lost twice to one fighter. He was so far past his prime in his fight against Mora. Being what? 37 I think. It was a close fight anyway, wouldnt be surprised if he beat him in the rematch
