    seats at the MGM

Has anyone been to a live fight at the MGM before? I'm debating whether to buy upper tier seats to the Cotto-Margarito fight but have never been to a live fight.

Does MGM's upper tier give you a decent view of the action, or I'm better just watching the pay-per-view?

I go all the time. You can always see the fight on the jumbo trons they have reagrdless. You can see the fight, of course the closer you are the better but the energy in the upper tier seats make up for the farther you are away from the ring. That is the only bad thing about sitting ringside is that the emotion is not as fierce.

The MGM is a pretty good place to watch boxing. But anytime you're in the upper tier it becomes a question of whether atmosphere is more important to you than a good view. Unless you have good binoculars you're going to be watching the action on the big screen. Personally, if I don't have good seats I prefer the comfort and convenience of my own home.

Unless u get REALLY good/close seats, you're better off watching it on tv. That's just from my experience.

I completely disagree! Go to the fight! Especially a fight this big! Nothing beats being there live!!!! and you are not in a massive arena. The place is not that big NO YOU DONT NEED BINOCULARS! I guarantee you, you will be happy with going to the fight but only thing is i think all the 100 seats are gone!

and also a side not. when your on the floor level watching a fight the view is horrible! then you got people jumping and standing everywhere when there's good action it sucks!!!! the little higher you get the better view you have!

The 300- 500 dollar seats give you a great view.. anything cheaper and you are waching the big screens. Those are the only seats available right now though so I say go for it if you have the money.
