I just think it's funny how Joe had a reputation for being an oft-injured ducker, but when he won his first big fight against Lacy then all of a sudden he had no problems for years until now? Must be a coincidence
He beat Lacy without sparring.
And I think he discovered Grant gloves since then.
I am not surprised. He has always had fragile hands. Hopefully HBO wises up and doesn't make this a PPV. If Joe can't draw in fans for WCB(Worst ratings for the Kessler fight and very disappointing numbers vs old Man Hopkins), it is doubtful that a HBO PPV would be different. If the PPV does well if will be only due to the fact that Jones and his fanbase.

Wasn't Calzaghe-Kessler aired during British prime time? Isn't that a major factor for the low ratings?
Oh ye Joe is 'injured' just like he has done 100 times before in his career. When he 'returns' he'l need a tune up against another Evans Ashira or 'another dangerous fighter' with 3 fights on his resume. The next thing the fight with Roy will be pushed to 2015 'due to circumstances beyond our control'
You are shockingly dumb. Chiyoko, posts **** EVERY time.
Calzaghe has been prone to injury his entire career and he is getting up there in the age department. This fight is going to happen unless the injury is really serious.Even if he doesn't fight Roy Jones his legacy won't be hurt by it.
You Calzaghe fans kill me !!! Other than a 70 year old Hopkins . What legacy do you think he has? He's only fought one future hall of fame fighter. The rest of his competition is B class at best!
