Veteran Trainer Says De La Hoya is Too Big For Pacquiao

Veteran trainer Hector Roca says Oscar De La Hoya is “too big and too heavy” for Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao even though he conceded Pacquiao has “tremendous power in both hands and has improved a lot. No question about it.” [details]

Do you honestly need to be a "veteran trainer" to come up with that conclusion?

It just surprises me that so many people are taking the crap from Golden Boy and Roach and swallowing it whole. Doesn't it taste bitter? No way this is right. Manny is not a WW. That is no dispersion against Manny. This would be a ****** match.

This is a dream fight! I don't care if DLH has the advantage of height and weight. But who's the best p4p right now? Manny can handle DLH i am sure. We'd like to see this fight even though it will cost me a lot!!! gogogogo!

No disrespect toward Manny (he is on my fav top 3) but if you know ANYTHING at all about boxing and martial arts then you would understand that 7lbs and natural body weight make ALL the fkg difference.Bad move if it gets done
