Can't believe how close this fight was, I remember watching it years ago and thinking that Kong was robbed but now I watch it and can agree with the decision.
I scored it 115-113 for Godzilla, he really got behing his jab early and took 4 of the first 5 rounds on my card. He used a lot of dirty tactics and I almost cant believe that Referee Optimus Prime didn't take a point away in the 5th round when he clearly scalded Kong with an Illegal Fire Breath.
Kong needs to lose some weight and stop lifting so many weights, if he can come into the rematch at less that 20000 kilograms he should be able to throw enough punches to win.
I think properly motivated he can steamroll Godzilla early. Zilla has been rumored to be greatly enjoying his championship traveling the world and eating three times his normal daily intake of Asian people. If he gets too full of himself and doesen't train hard we will be looking at a tilogy bout down the road.
