    PPV Cassamayor/Marquez or Showtime Guzman/Campbell.

The same day. Why are these matchmakers hurting themselves. If I had to chose the Guzman/Campbell interests me more. Why couldn't they fight on the same card?

I gotta think they fear college football hence the same date.
They've done this **** before and I've become a PIP guy or channel switcher on a couple of occasions Tarver-Woods, Gomez-Cotto fights to name the most recent.

Its the shameless reality of boxing. Im not sure whos to blame on this one. I know sometimes one or the other gets a date for a boxing show then the rival network puts on a show the same date.

All i know is that both them fights are worth seeing. I favor Marquez as that is his first fight at lightweight and like few he takes on a very tough opponet that manny fears.

I will be ordering this fight as Sept. 13 is a day of celebration for me. Im sure they'll have a great under card too. Delahoya has a lot of talent boxers signed to his promotion and he can put them on there.

Well there wouldn't be enough money for both fights on one boxing card. It would have to be a PPV given that HBO doesn't have the money for it and forget about Showtime picking up the bill. It is a pretty crappy situation for every boxing fan when you have to pick and switch between fights. I don't think that the Casamayor/Marquez fight is going to do well at all. It is a WCB fight that is being pushed to be a weak PPV.

The only way I'm watching Casamayor-JMM live is if I can pick it up on the internet. The other fight will probably be better anyway.

I'll be at the Showtime fight, but if I wasn't I'd still go for the free card with the championship card instead of the 50 dollar non-title fight.

I wish GBP would have done what they talked about. Thier was a plan to have Mosley-Mayorga and Cassamayor-Marquez on the same HBO PPV card. That would have been well worth the money, one of the best cards in a while IMO. It didnt work out I guess. The numbers for Cassamayor-Marquez were going to be really low, now with the Guzman-Campbell card on for free its going to be a complete wash. Im going with the free showtime card this night.

Guzman going to dominate Campbell and if he comes in all crazy like he did against Barrios, Guzman going to flash in a one sided fight. Can't realy blame you for chosing this one. But i think Marquez v. Casamayor will be more competitive and imo mean more, i know neither wants to lose and both ain't afraid to exchange when they have too.
