I've never seen Cotto score a one punch KO, not even against lesser opponents.

He has never had one punch knockout power. It is the amount of clean punches that he can produce that reflects his impressive KO percentage.

Most great body punchers, like Chavez and Duran, weren't big one punch guys. They broke them down through accumulations and attrition.

            I agree.

I loved what Jim Lampley said about Cotto during the Gomez fight.

He not only beats you, he beats you up.
Fighters like Chavez and Duran didn't go head hunting in order to end the fight quickly. They wanted to punish you for the entire 12/15 rounds and with that mentality, fighters would physically break down from the pressure that was placed on them.
