I would never brag about a fighter I like throwing 1675 punches, if so no way would I expect the opponent to be conscious let alone still standing at the end of the fight. If you throw that many punches and no knockdown or your opponent never even was hurt in the fight something is wrong, you surely arnt power puncher no matter how your promoter tries to pull the wool over te public's eyes.

Throwing that many punches does show stamina, but it also shows that Margarito just has one game plan. That's go forward and punch like hell. Against Cotto he's gonna have to have another plan, but I don't think he does. So I feel he's gonna be in trouble once that gameplan doesn't work.

I'd be surprised if 5% of those punches landed, Clottey blocked everything and still should have gotten the victory. Margo landed nothing the whole fight, worse than Chad Dawson did against Glen Johnson. Clottey was robbed, people who dont understand boxing see throwing punches as something but you have to look close, funny people say Marg was blocking P Will but miss the fact that Clottey blocked all of Marg's punches.

those guys fought with there gloves up the whole time. they were scared to trade with margarito. he is hitting his spot but since gloves are up there getting blocked. use some plain and basic common sense WILL YA??

It was hurt, he threw it probably no more than 5 times per rounds, beating Marg with the other hand, Marg is so slow. Look nobody go from tagging a guy and blaming a hurt hand if it really isnt hurt unless he is losing on purpose, who knows Bob could have wanted Marg to progress, their both is guys, but I doubt this, his hand was hurt.

Yet you fail to acknowledge that Margarito broke Clottey's will? OK, if the hand was as badly damaged as he claimed during the fight, why not stop the fight to avoid a severe injury? it wasn't as severe as they claimed, since Clottey admitted after the Corrales fight that he had only injured his thumb and not his hand during the Margarito fight. So I ask again, why didn't he just stop the fight? it's not like he won 8-9 rounds and had the fight locked and could of cruise for the remaining rounds, he only won the first 4 out 12...you see where I'm getting at?

Cotto will have a plan B and probably C. He's quick and his punches are hard enough to keep Margarito at bay.
