I really wanted to see Chagaev beat Valuev in the rematch and target Wladimir. No one i know wants to see another clinchfest with these two and i would be mad if Ruiz actually hugged his way to another title belt. Boxing just doesn't need fights like this.

I hope the WBA did indeed strip Chagev of the title, too many cancellations and fighting Matt Skelton made his "reign" a laughing stock. no doubt he'll get a shot at the Valuev-Ruiz winner and the merry go round will continue.

McCline lost 2 fights prior to that. I can't see how beating an opponent, who is 0-2 in his last 2 fights, could propel any boxer into the title shot position.
