I think Cotto was just trying to make it clear how far out of his league Gomez was. If your a proud guy like Cotto, and your put up against a guy who you feel has no chance against you....

this is what i picture honestly,
i see the first 4 rds close rounds for cotto outboxing margarito,
but from the the 5rd on cotto will be slowing down because he will be backing-up
and he is not known for his sweet science and footwork, he is not gonna be able to keep margarito away, if cotto hits margarito with his best shot and it makes margarito smile he is done cotto should quit

This whole Margarito thing about taking a shot then smiling is getting really fkg ridiculious!! Anybody who has boxed before knows that more than 90% of the time a fighter gets rocked and buzzed or hurt the immediate reaction is laugh it off.....Plus i never seen any ribs that pack a smile for that fact!!!
