He had no choice but to man up and fight cuz Tony forced him into a war. He tried to be defensive and box smart and was able to do it in a few spots, but ultimately he had to brawl. It made the fight excitin but he don't have enough power to bust thru Tony's chin, so he eventually got stopped again.

I think his mentality was I want to KO this dude. And he wanted it so bad, that it blurred his judgement. Sometimes in sports, you want it so bad that you are wiling to do whatever. Thats what his mindset was, but his body wouldnt let him.Comment

Both are true statements. Manny even advised agaisnt the fight, and Kermit insisted. Manny wanted to improved his skills better before having to go throu the same **** all over again. Manny told him to listen to VIVA's advise and not to sign the fight. Kermit did not listen. You could tell from the start he was intimidated. It's the second time he goes to fight with that look. (1st time was agaisnt Tony too). In all of the rest of his fights, his entrance has been full of confidence. Who of you doubted Santos after his entrance and his behavior during the national anthems??? Alcine was going down. Kermit was never mentally prepared to fight Tony. When your trainner doesn't believe in you, it's hard to build off confidence. I would not doubt that it was manny's idea to overact his injury in order to duck PW. Then again, it that was to be true, why go and fight Margarito afterwards. Kermit is my favorite fighter, but damn he is a dumbass mother****er.Comment
