    what was cintron thinking?

the potential was sooo huge. i seriously believe he is the hardest puncher in the division....

anyway, rewatching the 2nd margarito fight, kermit used a white boy shoulder roll the whole night and as a result his defense was ****. leave the shoulder roll to money may and toney and put your damn hands up! if kermit had used the winky defense- he would have stood a much better chance. you can't get away with a sloppy up-down defense (right up, left down) with someone who can throw 1500 punches in a fight, especially when those punches have the malicious intent that margarito puts behind them... he's not a slickster... what were he and manny stewart thinking?!?

It wasn't the Mayweather shoulder roll, it was a variation of what Hearns used to use, roll with a right hand and come back with his own, Hearns was obviously much better at it though.

whatever it was, it sure as hell didn't work. whats wrong with the old peek-a-boo. doesnt look as cool, but looks a hell of a lot better than rolling around on the canvas or crying after being stopped...

I don't think I've ever seen a Kronk fighter fight with the peek a boo, most if not all of them have the same variation of defense.

Yeah, it wasn't the 'Philly Shell' as such but the right counter defense. As in, it makes the opponent throw a left/right hand which you counter with your own. Cintron is not good at it though. He should work on a hands high defense.

Exactly, he's not fast enough to execute it effectively.

Cintron had potential, but realy all he was was raw power, He needs to work on technique
