Mexicans have excelled at boxing because it's a popular sport there and because they have the die in the ring rather than lose attitude. Many of the top boxers are primarily of Indian descent like Erik Morales and most Filipinos have very little if any actual Spanish blood. Countries like Thailand and Japan have also had success in boxing but they're not part European.
