I have heard the theory that slavery in the US weeded out the physically weak of that race, which makes African Americans so much more physically superior than White Americans.

Kind of interesting to think about.

...hmmmm...if pure blacks (meaning no white in them) were really the best, all the champions in every weight class would be from Africa...very small % of African boxers have been competitive at any level...and most of the blacks that are champions have a little "somp'n somp'n" added in there (white or spanish, which is white anyway)...let the games begin!!!!!...

African blacks do not dominate in athletics, except for sports where their proportionately longer legs give them an advantage, such as the 100 metre dash.

The greatest genetic diversity in the world is in Africa since it's the oldest population. Meaning you will probably find the tallest, shortest, fastest, and slowest people in the world there. There is less genetic diversity among Europeans so it's not as likely for white people to be at the very top or bottom when talking about pure athletic ability.
