I'm pretty sure that King has to decapitate him or something to become 'the one' again.

Then again with all of the new promoters popping up out of no where with no explanation of where the hell they came from or why King was ever given the title as 'the one'. This could drag on for a very very long time until some new never before seen with no explanation of where he was promoter shows up and takes over.
This will lead to a tv show about thier life and times which will also make no damn sense at all but people will love it.

That;s a brilliant idea I wonder which next promoter will actually start to develop fighter the way Arum had.

What has he ****ed up lately?
Pacman vs Marquez 1,2,3 Morales 1,2,3 Barrera 1,2
Cotto vs Margarito, Judah, Quintana, Mosley
            Margarito vs Williams, Cotto, Clottey

Arum kept producing big-scale undercards and superfights, including the Hagler-Sugar Ray Leonard bout, the Leonard-Hearns rematch, Evander Holyfield vs. George Foreman and many others.

Some of Arum's superstars from the 1990s include former world Flyweight champion Michael Carbajal and current boxing superstars includes five-time world champion Oscar de la Hoya, three-time division champion Erik Morales and reigning and defending WBC Lightweight World champion Manny Pacquiao.

Arum has concentrated largely on promoting Hispanic fighters in recent years, citing surveys which show boxing is among the most popular sports within the Hispanic community. He has had great success with fighters such as Miguel Cotto, who has won world titles at 140 and 147 pounds, and Antonio Margarito, who held a 147-pound WBO belt from 2002-2007.

He has concentrated many of his shows in the Southwestern portion of the U.S., in cities with large Spanish-speaking populations. He's also the promoter of many of the cards on Telefutura, a Spanish language network.

Arum is a member of the International Boxing Hall Of Fame.

How can you want him to retire when he is soon to deliver Cotto - Margarito?

I think he should follow his own advice and let some new blood fill in for him.
