How does a person steal languages?especially when the original founders of the colonies were British,hence the reason we speak english I thought Europeans were supose to be more educated than the ignorance you display across the message boards.For inventors I am going to claim Benn Franklin as he was one of the founding fathers and he created hundreds of inventions and some of them you use everyday.The battery and the condescent lighbulb,two things your life needs.The computer your useing might have Windows as an O/S or maybe you use a MAC or listen to your IPOD.Thank Bill Gates or Steve Jobs

English originated in England. English is a mix of Indo-European and West Germanic language. Mainly altered by people who invaded england and through generation to generation variations. So, you see, English was not invented at one time, but evolved over many years in England. So the English invented the English languagem, that's why it's called English...named after England.

I think you need to re-read what I wrote. I said "give you". Not "invent". Languages aren't invented. YOU were the one that said England "invented" English, then tried to say that I said someone else "invented" it. Nice job on projecting.
