HBO vs. PPV......plz help me decide

ok I love to watch boxing matches. Well i never get to see them live, I always have to wait a couple days until someone posts it up on youtube. Im not sure how much a fight cost on PPV but I know going thru Direct tv.... HBO will only cost me a extra $14 a month($168 a year). Plus i will get like 5 HBO channels. Would it be worth getting HBO or should I just order the fights thru PPV???

Maybe you can. I can order showtime fights for 25 dollars and I don't have showtime.

PPV's cost a lot more than a subscription to HBO. I think I pay like you said about 14 bux a month. PPV is like 50 for the big 1's and 30 for smaller 1's. 10-15 ppvs a year so do the math.

Most of the PPV fights end up on HBO the next week anyway. Plus with HBO you get lots of movies and some really excellent original programming. Easy choice IMO. If a PPV comes along that you really, really want to get, you'll find a way.

Well HBO has a lot of good original programming......but to keep it on the boxing stuff.....there PPV main events are shown the following week for free, usually in an undercard type of slot before the current days main event. They also show past fights of the contestants leading up to PPV's so you can catch some good fights that way too.
