    we talking thousands? ten thousands? hundreds of thousands? boxings problem isn't necessarily the price of the ppv's but do you think it could help bring new viewers and some fans who no longer watch back to the sport?

      Its called product elasticity. They have very smart people that study this ****.......$49.99 is the maximum profit point.

        They wouldn't sell many more. Even if they did, it would be less profit.
        Then someone would get fired, and then they would blame you.
        Then you would have to help them get a job and help polish up their resume.

        You'd have to carry that burden.

        1million times 30 dollars is still LESS then
        650k times 50 dollars.

        I think.

          For me, most of the PPV's I still wouldn't get at $30.

          The cost of a movie is about where I'd take a chance at a slightly dubious matchup, or fighter's that I haven't followed that much, ie. $10-

            Exactly....the reality boils down to some simple math;
            For them to make the same money that they do for 100,000 buys @ $50, they'd need to sell 166,667 @$30.....and, obviously, if they are going to increase their rake, they need to sell even more. It's hard to imagine that they could increase their sales by 60%+ with that kind of drop.
