What happened to US heavyweights having a heart?

I keep seeing them having fights with Vodkaskis and just virtually falling over for the payday.

Tony Thompson last week just stood there like a dumb **** taking punch after punch from Little Klit.... at least Two Guns gave it a go when he fought Valuev.

I hate to see no heart in a boxer and last night was a ****ing disgrace. I know Sykes was only a warm up and is far, far from the upper echelon of US heavyweights, but he looked as if he was trying to suck Povetkin off in that third round. Absolute embarrassment.

They're no Danny Williams, are they?

Vladimir is a very great boxer. Emanual Steward has created him that way. Look at Vladimir before Emanual Steward helped him, he did not move in the ring well. He is so good at moving now, and stopping his opponent in every way, whenever his opponent tries to punch him. You cannot beat Vladimir now. It is impossible !

I am sorry but I think you are not accurate in your evaluation of Thompson. I thought they said no other boxer in history punched Vladimir more times than Thompson in this fight. Thompson did as well as he could, better than most fighters could ever do. The american boxers do have heart.

since you are my new rival , winter.

i'd have to disagree with you. i think wladimir was better before emmanuel.

he's just being more careful now and wasting less energy to save his stamina.

wladimir to me was much better to watch and much better offensively before emmanuel.

emmanuel is an awful trainer now imo. maybe the game has passed him by?

as far at tony thompson or the american heavyweights , there's a big difference between trying to win and trying not to lose. a lot of heavies now are trying not to lose or just doing barely enough to win.

I never wrote to be a rival ! I used to have rivals when I first came here. I cant remember their names now. It is so long ago. I forgot so much of the forum before. They were so mean ! Nautilus and Nichtgeflechten were the only ones that would help me.

Too ****ing right. Marciano retired rather than face Danny.

I have to agree Wlad was much more exciting to watch before stewart was training him.

Thompson showed a lot of heart. Annie is kidding himself there.

                    Sykes was pathetic yesterday though.
