He was trained for his entire career I think, He was trained by Ingle for the most part and then Roach for his last few fights.

Ingle reckoned had he stuck with him he would've been the greatest but Naseem had too many outside interferences.

its about achievement relative to ability. Both Tyson and Mayweather had a chance to become the greatest ever but didn't take them.
