Or the so called "P4P" number one retiring without really fighting the best in his division?
Or the fact we keep seeing the old guard fighting ...the old guard.

I'm not satisfied with the heavyweights but if Mayweather can become a national story with just a few big fights it shows that boxing can become big within seconds. Not worried about it.

Honestly if you want to save boxing, but it on network tv. Boxing is a niche sport given that you actually have to pay HBO,Showtime, and PPV in order to see the best fighters fight.

Imagine for example if you got Manchester united only playing against Newcastle Utd , Portsmouth and Reading.....

Sugar Ray Robinson....fought 13 times in his final year of boxing.

that wont save boxing. what will is a few tysons or alis or DLHs. this will create more viewers, which will create more money, which will create more gifted atheletes going into boxing, which will allow boxing to be popular once again
