mma guys are not b level boxers trying to box.

they're wrestlers and jiu-jitsu guys boxing at a b or c level.

the ufc is the promoter and the org.

you must not give boxing much credibility either because the orgs strip fighters all time of their belts if they fight someone they dont' agree with.

remember when the wbc , wba and ibf would strip any champion if they fought a wbo champion?

As a boxing fan it pisses me off to see these fake championship belts WBC, WBA, IBF. The ring belt tried to do away with this BS but it might have created more with allowing Cassamayor to still retain it. Besides the DLH ownership. MMA is ok with me but the UFC promoters not allowing there fighters to fight the best and stay within the ORG and promotion is why it will be very hard for me to accept the UFC not MMA.

i tried giving it a chance and watching it but couldnt do it. If I want to see street fighting i'll just go to my nearest gang infested neighborhood. Theres nothing like the sweet science.

I like both boxing an MMA. They are both interesting to watch in their own right.

I like both. But not UFC. UFC is a gay horrific bastardization of MMA. True MMA is dead.

remember when chuck liddell was being touted as the best light heavyweight in the ufc and that tito ortiz was ducking him?

dana white sent him to fight in PRIDE to prove how much better the UFC was.

he got his ass kicked and he didn't even lose to the best fighter in PRIDE.

then when he went on to win the UFC belt it was embarassing for the org.

the UFC's best light heavyweight got his ass kicked by the 3rd or 4th best in the other org.

it was quite an embarassment for the UFC and they ended up buying PRIDE and taking all the PRIDE fighters.

You also have Affliction card: Fedor Emmilianenko, Tim Sylvia, Pedro Rizzo among others. UFC's only got Anderson Silva worth mentioning.

I'm looking forward to Fedor vs Sylvia as well, that should be a very good fight.

you just don't understand grappling.

if you were into wrestling or jiu-jitsu you'd like it better.

like people like the ufc for the brawling. i find the brawling boring.

like one said they try to box but they're no more than c level boxers.

i prefer knees and elbow than when they throw punches at each other.

some top notch muay thai guys are in mma so they're striking are nice......but with most mma guys their boxing sucks though.
