Yuriorkis Gamboa Blasts Late-Sub Al Seeger in One-Round

By Cliff Rold - Super prospect Yuriorkis Gamboa may or may not live up to the hype surrounding his career. When he lets his hands go there is little questioning why the hype is so loud. A flashy combination of rare speed and snapping power, the 26-year old former Olympic Gold Medalist and Cuban defector Gamboa (11-0, 9 KO) ran over 28-year old Al Seeger (27-4, 21 KO) of Savannah, Georgia in less than a round on Friday night at the Buffalo Bill's Star Arena in Primm, Nevada. The KO punch was ****ing sick.

I can't believe a kid with only 10 fights just KO'd a guy who fought for a world title 2 fights ago in less than one round.

        Incredible.

yea i didnt think Gamboa was going to be able to get inside and actually accomplish anything because of how awkward and clinchy Seeger is, but damn. that KO was sick

              This guy is the truth.

Call me crazy, but I think if they were to give him a shot at a title. He would win a title.

              Right now.

When the fight began I looked like it would go a couple of rounds because of all the clinching Seeger was doing. But one right hand later and Seeger was out cold.
