    What Has Roy Jones Done???

In Which Fight Has He Shown Against Which World Class Opposition That At 40 Years Old He Can Still Be A World Class Operator???

Remember If You Answer With Calzaghe In Your Answer You Automatically Fail.

I think the Hanshaw fight was impressive...Hanshaw was a good solid young fighter coming up and Roy was able to hang with him. To me that showed hes not completley shot...

Lol, the broken record keep saying the same thing.

Roy hasn't proved he can hang with world opposition in his new style. He hasn't fought anyone who will allow him to do so. He is fighting Joe Calzaghe, which will give him the opportunity to show if he can hang with world opposition.

At the same time, what fight can you point to after Tarver III (when he switched styles) that shows that Roy has no chance to hang with world opposition?

Thanks... I'll go ahead and beat one out to my victory here.

Man I see it like this. If a guy that can take 2 KTFO defeats with another 12 round ass whooping and come back to the sport like he has, I easily give credit too. You know there was a fighter (one of my all time favorites) that went by the name of Prince Naseem Hamed who was undefeated and was the best this that and the other and he lost just ONE time and never really came back. Jones was KO'ed cold twice. He is NOW just coming back to face so called "WORLD CLASS FIGHTERS". How can you judge a man or say he's washed up when he hasn't even done anything right? Yes he hasn't DONE ANYTHING..... Well Moofoo, he's about to do something. How can you sit here and argue what Roy has and hasnt done when Joe just had a fight with Peter Manfrdo. What did he do to deserve a fight? Get second place on a TV show about boxing... lol

Roy Jones Jr hasn't done nothing BUT prepare himself for Joe Calzaghe.

At 40 years old what mnakes you believe he has ANYTHING left in the tank?
If Roy believed he had anything why didn't he have meaningful fights?

                    All you Roy fanboys.

Tell me....what did Roy do since his brutal KO losses to make you believe at 40 yrs old he can regain his magic?Especially against a guy who hasd been fighting young hungry fighters and winning?
Before you start ...I dont like Joe Calzaghe.

                    Educated answers only please.

DONT EVEN DREAM OF USING ROYS PERFORMANCES PRIOR TO 2004.
he does not have to do anything, he is roy jones, and just like jordan he could pull out some ****, and still drop 50 for a game! in the immortal words of toby keith"i ain't as good as i once was, but i'm as good once as i ever was." never doubt a great athlete man. they can surprise you once in a while, even at 40. stop hating moof, the dude is closing out a atg career. just relish, and enjoy b4 he's gone.
