Its a shame Cus D'amato wasnt around for 15 years longer, Tyson would have never gone off the rails imo and for me that means he would never have gotten involved in all the ****** ****, left himself in a position where he ended up jailed for **** and effectively stunted what is a great but could have been legendary reign as undisputed HW king.

Show some respect.......the guy did become the 1st-2nd youngest ever to win the HW title. I doubt that will ever again be a HW champion (not titilist) as young as Tyson.

I think that's in large part a myth that we'd all like to believe. Fact is, Mike would have grown up just like the rest of the world, and he would have made his own decisions, with Cus or without.

...there was a black kid that I went to school with that was 16 and benching 450...and he wrestled at 190...the only thing that really stuck out on this was "how genuine" he was...looked like a really nice kid with a good heart...what the hell happened?

Pretty amazing, especially since HWs usually don't fully mature until about 24.
