    There should be more tournaments

A big 16 or 8 man tournament in one of the divisions like lightweight, heavyweight, middleweight, or welterweight would be awesome.

    I agree.

There should be at least a four fighter tournament, or even an eight fighter tournament to determine mandatories with all four sanctioning organizations. That way only people who deserve a title shot would get one.

The sport's worst weakness is that the contenders don't fight other contenders often enough, except in title fights. People ranked in the top 15 by the sanctioning organizations usually fight opponents who are not ranked.

The problem and the reason why it has not happened yet are the promoters. Their job is to find the easiest fight for their clients people would still pay for. They are slowly killing the sport while getting rich. It won't stop until the people who actually buy the ppvs say "no mas"
