exactly the only people who dont know how to score fights are the fighters themselves they always think their 10 rounds infront and the fools actually watching it at the venue [the fans]

this reminded me of Tarver v Jones 1 ,anyone with a brain could see Jones won by 2/3 rounds yet the crowd thought it was a robbery lol

Jones-Tarver is different and wasn't a robbery since Roy was the one landing clean punches and partially blocking Tarver's attacks, this wasn't the case for the Julio-Vanda fight.

You saw the same fight I saw.

true Champions always have that look on their face when they perform below their standards see Roys face after Tarver 1 there are plenty of examples of dejected fighters after a fight but it dont mean they lost the fight its mean they are disapointed in their performance

Chavez caught a lot of shots agreed but he still did not lose the fight the difference between that fight and this fight aswell is that Chavez was getting through he was doubling Julio-Vanda over with left hooks to the body and he outworked him clearly in the first 5 rounds IMO, but he got hit a lot and Julio-Vanda finished very strongly he still did not win more rounds than Chavez though

I thought it was close. First half for Jr. second half for Vanda. What pissed me off was the 100-90 score. That score spells bull**** and I hate it when a fight gets overshadowed by it. As for Jr. as much as I want him to be a major force, I just don't see it happening. He needs to box instead of trying to fight like his father.

definetly i think his height is a disadvantage with that kinda style, a shorter fighter is harder to hit majority of the time and if u are tall and u wanna fight inside u are putting yourself in arms way IMO

i still was not a win for Vanda as far as im concerned ,close yes but Chavez did not lose the fight

Chavez Jr shouldn't box. Its not in him. He don't look like the type of dude who can bounce around and out-box his opponents. PLUS Mexicans wouldn't like that. Chavez Jr should fight like a prime B-Hop a defensive inside fighter who can throw short powerful hooks. Get what I'm saying? Another problem Chavez has is that, He doesn't throw right straights.
