Could Wlad KO Toney?

Wladmir might have a small shot at knocking him out if he didn't infact fight like a petrified robot playing chess. But thats his new style I guess.

Even If Toney were **** defensively, I think it would still be very hard for anyone to knock him out. Of course, he was awesome defensively (and is still quite good yet).

Basically Toney has an almost Lamotta like chin, and is/was a defensive wizard. Wlad is simply not agressive enough to score a proper K.O. on Toney. Maybe a ref stoppage if Toney has really slid, or a corner towel. Barring that...he won't be stopped.

I think taking Wlad by KO would be an interesting gamble that would get action on both sides. But I don't think there is much chance of it happening because there is very little upside for Wladimir. How much credit is he going to get for beating a short, fat 40 y/o?

Wladimir COULD stop Toney, nobody is knockout proof. If Wladimir tags him enough sure he could. That isnt a guarantee, it all depends how aggressive Wladimir is. I think Wladimir would go for the KO because there's little risk of getting KO'd plus he's gonna pretty pissed from all the **** talking Toney would've done by then!

The Toney that fought Holyfield would be a very good fight for Wladimir. That Toney was still slippery enough, combined with his iron chin, to last the distance. Maybe even the Toney that I believe beat Peter the first time. But this Toney, Wlad has a decent chance of stopping him late.

If the thread asked would Wlad stop Toney, I'd still probably say no. But since it asks could, the answer is definitely yes.

Like everyone has said wlad could Ko Toney but Toney i think Toney could last the distance depends what sort of shape he turns up in, But i cant see this fight happening any time soon.

it wouldnt matter if wlad charged at toney like a bat out of hell trying to KO him with every punch, toney is a defensive wizard- he was using the shoulder roll when floyd was a little kid-and has one of the best chins of all time, i cant believe how dumb wlad fans are......of course anyone can get KO'd, but in toneys case, the chance of that happening is 0.1%

Chris Byrd had a great chin and old school elusive defence, he is good at making fighters miss just like Toney.

Wlad destroyed Byrd and he would destroy Toney too.
