    The Most Overrated Fighter Today...

Hasn't had a significant win since 2002. That's six years, folks.

Alternates between fighting no-hopers and world-beaters. He usually fools fans by beating the no-hopers and convincing everyone that he can do the same to the world-beaters.

Will fool fans again in December.

Last fought someone who was three divisions below where he normally fights at...and the guy wasn't even the best fighter in that division.

Why...oh why...do we allow Oscar De La Hoya to get away with this?

In his prime he was great - although a notch below the very best. But since that prime, the pattern has been obvious and, for lack of a better term, underhanded.

The funny thing is, we get mad at HBO for jerking us around but not their favorite accomplice, who's continuing to screw us, now as a promoter and sometimes as a fighter.

I doubt people will agree but this man's role is hurting boxing as much as he's helped it. They said the sport was dead after Ali. Then came Sugar Ray. They said it was dead then. Boom - Tyson. Then Oscar. We will survive.

    Oscar, please retire.

Who overrates him? He's popular, but no one rates him very highly. Everyone knows everything you just said.

If everyone knew what I just said, people wouldn't tout Floyd's win over him as something special.

If everyone knew what I just said, they'd be asking what he's done to deserve a shot at the Cotto-Margarito winner.

In essence, if everyone knew what I just said, he'd have retired already.
