i would prefer if Hopkins retired but if the fight gets signed i do expect to see Pavlik win a close UD/SD while looking real bad doing so. Not a good fight for him, Hopkins could win this though.

Agreed. Kelly doesn't have the skill of Hopkins but age and strength should give Pavlik the win.

Hop is old now. Pav or Cal couldn't beat Hop in his prime. Hop fought old in the Cal fight, and he will only fight older against Pav. Hop might even fix this fight to take extra money or something. He will talk a big game, get people to bet that he loses by decision. Take a body shot from PAv like Dlh did when Hop beat him, and collect his stip at the back door lol.

This thing with Pavlik fighting Williams, Mora, now Hopkins is getting ridiculous really.

Mora has a mandatory rematch, and mandatory defense, where the hell did those reports come from?

I actually want to see Williams vs Pavlik its more interesting than the rest. but it seems to me like Pavlik is slated to fight the whole world this comming fall.

...Hopkins will make it boring and ugly as usual but I still think Pavlik may knock him out. It's not a fight I would advise for Kelly though as Hopkins drags everyone down to his level of fighting. Even if Pavlik kicks his ass he won't get any credit for it anyway. I wouldn't fight Hopkins even if I was 100% convinced I could beat him. He turns every fight into a ****fest of holding, hugging, cheap shots, and very little real action.

The funny thing about this fight is if Hopkins won, there would be a rematch between him and Calzaghe in 2009.

The fight would be at super-middle weight cuz hopkins says he wont do 160 again and at that weight he'd be quicker and i can see him pulling off a knockout victory and i dont think it would be an upset either.

Sick of Hopkins...I wouldint buy the fight for the simple reason of the way Hopkins makes a fight boring...look at the Calzaghe bout...zzzz
