As exciting as Pavlik is to watch, Hopkins will turn this fight into a stinker with his one punch and hold routine. Im not buying it!

some years ago Hopkins would absolutely rip him to pieces. Problem is he just can't fight like that anymore being that he's 43.

This is my opinion. If Hopkins came out and just went for him I think he would have a huge chance to win. He won't though so he'll likely lose a decision.

LMAO!!!!! yea.......................to keep dreaming!!!! no f'in way hopkins gets ko'ed-EVER!!! wtf are you talking about???

if hopkins loses, it will be based solely on an inability to match pavlik's intensity. u guys talk about hopkins like he's completely over the hill.....while he's no offensive wiz anymore, he still defensively tops in the game.

pavlik doesn't throw 1000 punches a round, so this fight will be a lot slower paced than the calzaghe fight (which hopkins won), and pavlik can be outboxed-ass he was in the second fight with JT, which i think he actually lost.

            weird.....

Weird fight.....But I wish PAV would face AA so abadger would stop repeating for this fight to happen.... Anyway I don't see HOP KO'ing him and Like someone else pointed out PAV would win this fight because of throwing more punches (a joe calzaghe win). This also could just be a set up for something else bigger, who knows. I don't see HOP wanting to face this guy, I don't see it doing much for his career win or lose. Unless hop moves up he can prove nothing. Pav needs to just face AA and be ready for Joe in early 09. Hop should move up to heavy or just retire.... The youngin's our to active for him in the LHW or below. He needs to be in heavy if he plans on sticking around... but that's just me....

Good fight. Is this fight at 160 or 168?

So what weight class or catch weight do you think this would be? No way Hopkins would fight at 160 being that he's fought his last three fights at 175. 168 then??

hopkins is as good as he could be, he's better at LHW than 95% of his MW years, especially the last few years when he was drained and EVEN MORE scared of getting punched...the only reason he loses to pavlik is that he is a ****...

I wonder what the Pav fans will be saying now. They criticized Cal for taking the fight. I guess now we will hear how Pav will ko the old man. I think if this fight goes down, it is a fix.
