David Haye has insisted he will not have a problem with his chin at heavyweight, as the the punches coming at him will be slower, enabling him to avoid getting hit.
Many pundits believe Haye will not be able to withstand the punching power of heavyweights, with certain judges such as Frank Warren expounding the old adage that 'you can't put muscles on the chin'.
Having been stopped in the World Amateur final by Orlando Solis, by Carl Thompson in his only professional defeat and knocked down by super middleweight Lolenga Mock and Jean-Marc Mormeck, there are certainly question marks in this area, but Haye is certain it will not be a problem.
"I've got a chin transplant booked in for next week so once that's healed up we'll take it from there," Haye joked to Setanta Sports News.
"The guys are very slow. The shots that I've been hit and hurt with and put down by have been one I didn't see. Shots thrown by people who were very fast.
"These heavyweights don't punch that fast so I'll be able to see the shot scoming so I'll be able to block them or brace for them a bit more."
