How would you rank Calzaghe if he beats Jones and Pavlik?

All time status?

The win over Jones would add something, but not too much. IMO he has pretty much cemented his legacy, a win over a young bull like Pavlik would definately enhance it but I think most of his best work has already been done.

I already rate him pretty highly all time great wise. Top 50 I would say.

Wow. If I said that I would get crucified, perhaps you will also. I couldn't place him ATG because I don't know enough about all the other boxers there are but he has achieved some good things, for sure.

He's already the greatest super middleweight of all time, a win over Pavlik would give him an argument to be an ATG but I think it would depend on what Pavlik goes on to do afterwards.

I admit to not knowing enough about pre-1960s boxing to be a very good judge of all time p4p status but he has dominated SMW for a long time and beaten everybody. There will always be doubts about his resume I guess but there aren't too many guys out there that don't have some doubts over their careers. I rate Floyd as a top 20 all time so I don't see how I can do that then turn around and say Joe isn't in the top 50.

I totally agree-- Greatest Super Middleweight of all time yes... greatest of all time ... not so much, I would probably say top 60 or so

I rate him higher than Hopkins without doubt, but their careers are actually very similar so I could see why someone would disagree.
