Sergio Mora Says a Pavlik Fight is ‘Still Pending’

Newly crowned super welterweight champion Sergio Mora is not giving up hope that a September bout with Kelly Pavlik can be made. Reached Wednesday, Mora said that he is still in the mix to fight Pavlik in Atlantic City in early fall. He also criticized Pavlik’s promoter Bob Arum for considering welterweight Paul Williams as a potential opponent.

Mora needs to realize that this fight is dead in the water. Arum doesn't want to make a fight that will be jeopardized by lawsuits, and if the promoter doesn't want to make the fight it isn't going to happen. Mora is in a bad situation, but it is his problem and he needs to move forward and deal with it.

Im not a Mora hater but damn i give PW more of a chance to beat Pav than THE LATIN FAKE MORA. I have the feeling that this kid will get exposed soon!
