Rahman CLEARLY gave up the fight! He cried to the doctor that he couldnt see. So if he got jabbed in the eye and it swelled up its ok for him to quit? Boxers get gashed from head butts all the time! Rahman just didnt have the heart to continue like all the other boxers in the sport!

He looked OK. Started out feeling Rock out, didn't throw much. Then he got going in the second round into the third where he dominated. Problem is he looks a lot slower to me defensively. In other words he's a lot more hittable.

Maybe he was fighting down to Rock's speed but against quicker Heavies I'm afraid he's going to get beat up.

What if Rahmans eye were to have swelled up from a jab? Thats what happens in boxing! That man has no heart and he clearly gave up the fight by telling the doctor he can't see.

A JAB making an eye swell is legal, a THUMB isn't. A cut from a head clash is the same...NOT LEGAL. Often fighters can overcome the disadvantage, sometimes they can't. So the fight gets stopped. This doesn't make a butt induced stoppage legal.
