Should the fight be scored a TKO?

    The case for a T.K.O.

1.Rahman inferred that he could not continue

The case for a No Contect

    1. Toney landed very few (if any) right hands before the 3rd round. ALL OF THE SUDDEN he lands right hands and hurts Rahman

    2. Rahman could not see because an accidental headbutt, meaning that means an NC if stopped before the end of 4 rounds.

I do think Rahman was kind of looking for a way out, or second-guessed his decision, but hey that's not fair why should he have to fight with one eye getting hit with right hands. AND it was Rahman's fault for the headbutt in the first place. If he wasn't sticking his head forward with his hands down it never would've happened.

ONE MORE THING.. doesn't the physician do TESTS and stuff like that to determine if a fighter cannot see out of an eye?? Like when he follows a pen with his eyes or some ****.

      yes. rahman quit.

the doctors wouldn't have stopped it if he didn't say anything.

the rock is a puss. i hope he never gets another fight.

Rahman wanted to stop the fight and the cut was not bad enough, he's been rightfully rewarded.

Rahman is the Zab of the heavyweight division! **** that I won't even give him that much credit!

His corner was the one who called the doctor over not the ref. Rahman volunteered the info that he couldn't see, the doctor didn't say one thing about the cut. Rahman was getting buzzed and was about to be embarrassed by Toney.

Arum should make Rahman and Tye Fields fight to see who is the biggest *****!

It is a clear case of Rock quiting.

The doctor came in, took a look at the cut, saw that it was not bad enough to stop the fight, then Rock was like, but I can't see! It was Rock that decided he was not fit to continue. If you tell the doctor you can't see, he has to stop the fight. It is a TKO since the ref had already deemed the cut not bad enough to stop the fight.

I didn't see so much as a drop of blood come out of the cut in the fight. Rock got rocked and wanted a way out.

I may have missed it but where was the part where the doc told Rahman that the cut wasn't big bad enough to stop the fight?

It can't be a TKO if the injury was caused by a butt and the doctor said he was unfit to continue. Rahman wasn't asked if he wanted to continue, he was asked if he could see. The rules leave no doubt about the outcome. Not a great day for California boxing. This will be overturned for sure.

When did you hear the doctor say that the cut wasn't bad enough to stop the fight? That didn't happen.
